DPRK leader Kim Jong-un arrives in Singapore for summit

SINGAPORE - Kim Jong-un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) had arrived in Singapore, Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said Sunday in a message on Twitter.
"Welcomed Chairman Kim Jong-un, who has just arrived in Singapore," the foreign minister said in the message.
Kim is here for the summit with US President Donald Trump which will be held on Tuesday.
The US president is expected to arrive in Singapore on Sunday evening.
