Chinese president's special envoy to attend presidential inauguration in Turkey

BEIJING - President Xi Jinping's special envoy Luo Shugang will attend the inauguration of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey on July 9, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Monday.

Luo, also minister of culture and tourism, is visiting on Xi's behalf at the invitation of the Turkish president, said Hua.
