The man who stabbed two schoolboys to death in Shanghai earlier this year has been charged with homicide, the Shanghai People's Procuratorate said on Tuesday.
On the morning of June 28, Huang Yichuan, 29, took a bus to the vicinity of the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School on Pubei Road in Xuhui district where he attacked three children and a female parent with a kitchen knife.
He was quickly subdued by police officers and passers-by.
Police said Huang, a native of Shaoyang, Central China's Hunan province, had been wandering in different cities in search of a job before arriving in Shanghai in early June.
After failing to find work, Huang became anti-social and sought to exact revenge on society.
