Chinese shares rebound Tuesday

Chinese stocks rallied on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.82 percent, at 2,699.95 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.67 percent higher at 8,133.22 points.

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 2.04 percent to 1,377.30 points.
