Poetry Moment: Yu Menglong reads for you

The nineteenth episode of China Daily website's original short video series Poetry Moment is out now.

This time, we have Yu Menglong as our guest. He has three well-balanced identities: Singer, actor and music video director, but doesn't want to compete with anyone.

In his gentle voice, Yu will read Ah, Sunflower, an upbeat poem written by William Blake. He encourages everyone to be hopeful about the future, and he also shares his own expectations for his future -- to act more, create better characters and never forget why he started.

Yu said he has no fear of playing "dark" characters. As an actor, he is willing to take on some complicated characters and has no worry about "losing fans", because showing different sides to his personality is important for him. On the other hand, as a singer, he never gave up that career. At the end of this year, his new song will be released to the public, for which he has also worked on the music video as director.
