Yu says that those who were once susceptible to a non-waste-generating lifestyle have gradually converted thanks to curiosity. The zero-waste lifestyle, she adds, is not for ascetics.

"It is around us at our fingertips."

Yu expects some of her friends to join her on the road to zero waste.
