Countrywide program to improve tour guides'commentary

Consequently, competitions were organized among the public to write the commentaries to those historical sites in their hometowns, especially those lesser-known places for general tourists.

The program also urged people to explore history as well as relevant folklore and stories in their homelands by collecting abundant files. Experts were organized to judge their writing works and control quality.

The winners were awarded bonus in the project, which was also supported by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and Ministry of Finance. The winning scripts will be used as official guide of those sites. The program is to cover more places in China in 2019.
