Saudi Arabian crown prince to visit China

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit China and co-chair the third meeting of the China-Saudi Arabia high-level joint committee from Feb 21 to 22, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said on Friday.
The Saudi crown prince will meet with President Xi Jinping and co-chair the meeting with Vice-Premier Han Zheng, according to the spokesman.
The two sides are expected to sign a number of agreements on bilateral cooperation, he said.
Geng said China hopes the visit will further enhance the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership, reinforce synergies between respective development strategies, and deepen bilateral cooperation in various areas within the Belt and Road framework.
