Former Chief Justice of China dies at 81

BEIJING -- Xiao Yang, former president of the Supreme People's Court, died at the age of 81 in Beijing on Friday.
A statement from the central authorities said he was an excellent member of the Communist Party of China, a loyal communist soldier, and an outstanding leader in the country's work on politics and law.
