Heritage x Arts x Design Walk Project: Treasure Islands

What Sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and presented by Hong Kong heritage non-profit Hulu Culture, this arts initiative includes a large outdoor exhibition and a series of interactive educational programmes. Inspired by the legend of infamous pirate Cheung Po Tsai, the exhibition explores the history and unique culture of four outlying islands located southwest of Hong Kong Island: Lantau Island, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island and Peng Chau. Visitors can view on-site exhibits (including the 18-metre-long painted scroll Pacifying the South China Sea), take in a shadow puppet show, join a variety of workshops and guided tours, and even gain experience as a ship's captain under the guidance of students from the Maritime Services Training Institute.
