China holds a ceremony to mark the centenary of the May Fourth Movement at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday.
President Xi Jinping attends the event and delivers a keynote speech.
The movement, launched in 1919 by young intellectuals and joined by people from all walks of life, was a revolutionary campaign against imperialism and feudalism.
