Legend Capital names new top executive to boost cross-border investments

China's leading venture and growth capital firm Legend Capital announced a fresh appointment on Friday to support its international business, as it eyes further presence in cross-border investments.
Piau Voon Wang, former co-chief investment officer of Noah Holdings (Hong Kong) Ltd, was appointed as managing director and chief operating officer of Legend Capital.
The move marks the company's broader efforts to enhance its international management team and boost cross-border investments and LP bases.
According to the firm, Wang will take charge of Hong Kong office as well as mid- and back-office operations.
Boasting 20-year experience in global private equity investment, Wang was known as one of the big four tycoons for USD LP community in China.
Prior to Noah, Wang had worked with Adams Street Partners as partner in charge of global primary investment and has deployed capitals hitting $3 billion.
