Rory Stewart knocked out of Tory leadership contest in 3rd round

Rory Stewart is eliminated from the third round of voting for the UK's Conservative Party leadership. Boris Johnson 143 votes, Jeremy Hunt 54, Michael Gove 51, Sajid Javid 38, Rory Stewart 27.

There are two more rounds of voting scheduled for Thursday before the final two candidates are named.

After Thursday's vote, the hustings process begins across the nation for 160,000 party members to decide between the final two candidates. The new leader will be announced during the week of July 22.
