Flying Wallendas cross Times Square on high wire

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2019-06-25 00:15

The Flying Wallendas successfully completed their daring Times Square high-wire stunt on Sunday evening in New York City.

They crossed a 1,300ft-long high-wire suspended between two skyscrapers. It was the first stunt for Lijana since her catastrophic 2017 accident where she fell during human pyramid stunt and broke every bone in her face.

They started on opposite ends of the high-wire that's as wide as a quarter and set up 25 stories high and crossed over each other in the middle.

Nik finished his walk at 26 minutes with Lijana finishing at the 36 minute mark.
