British choreographer  Matthew Bourne's all-male cast Swan Lake will make its debut in Beijing with six performances to be staged at Tianqiao Performing Arts Center from September 5 to 8.

In 2014, the production was staged in Shanghai for 11 shows, which became a phenomenon.

Based on Tchaikovsky's musical masterpiece created in the late 19th century, the production has won Lawrence Olivier, Tony and Astaire awards for Excellence in Dance on Broadway since it was created in 1995.

Before Beijing, the production will be staged in Shanghai from August 15 to 22.

Bourne's two other productions: Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella came to Beijing in 2016 and 2018.
