"We attend RV expos because they enable us to see potential customers face-to-face and understand the latest industry developments," says Liu Wuhong, a senior RV-sales director with Jinguan.
The company has signed several purchase orders with RV-rental and-tour operators at the expo.
"The RV-market atmosphere is good," he says.
The company has been developing specially purposed vehicles in such fields as electrical power and petroleum for more than three decades.
It began planning RV production a decade ago and rolled out its first RV products in 2015.
"We saw the booming market in Europe, the United States and Australia back then, before the Chinese RV market had even taken off, so we recognized the great business opportunities," Liu Wuhong says.
To date, the company has enjoyed an annual growth of 20 percent and has continued to upgrade its RV products and roll out new models every year.
Liu Wuhong believes China's large population, coupled with its vast and diverse territory, makes for great development potential.
"People's perception is changing, and an increasing number of retired people have joined the RV market, "Liu Wuhong explains.
He expects middle-aged people and retirees will be the major market force in the future.
"They've stopped seeing RVs as being exclusive to the rich and are increasingly aware that RVs can serve their travel needs," he says.
The expo enabled visitors to see the latest developments in the vehicles, campsites and equipment.
A family-interaction zone was set up at the exhibition, while experts - like Zhang Guangzhi, who is a veteran RV enthusiast of 12 years - were invited to the expo to share their experiences with visitors.
Zhang has been to nearly every province and autonomous region across China, including the Xinjiang Ugyur and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions, and Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.
He has also driven his RV across the US and Canada multiple times.
"I've been on the road almost six months out of every 12 and enjoy sharing the beautiful things I see and the happiness I feel with others," Zhang says.
Zhang says many expo visitors ask him about travel plans and RV refitting.
"I could feel the public is quite enthusiastic about the RV lifestyle, and we exchanged notes on many aspects in the field," he says.
