Fire under control at century-old Wuhan hotel, no casualties

WUHAN - A fire that broke out Sunday in a historic hotel in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province, was basically brought under control as of 6 pm with no casualties reported.

The fire started at around 3 pm on the top floor of the century-old Jianghan Hotel, according to the local fire department.

The five-story building is currently under renovation. Its top floor was damaged but nobody has been reported hurt.

Further investigation is underway.
