JINAN - Customs in the port city of Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, intercepted 700 milliliters of testosterone undecanoate products, the customs said Tuesday.
The products mailed from the Philippines were disguised as fruit essences in an attempt to avoid detection, according to the customs.
The products are used to control the normal growth of male sexual organs and maintain secondary sexual characteristics, which are prohibited to enter the country by mail or by carrying without quarantine examination, according to the customs.
Further investigation is underway.
