On July 26, singer Pan Qianqian's first album Farewell My Lover was launched at a press conference held in Beijing.
The album contains 14 songs done in different styles, and it took a year to be ready.
Pan and her band gave the audience a taste of the album at the event. Other singers like Liu Dacheng and Wang Xu also showed up to support her.
Born in East China's Shandong province, Pan has participated in many singing competitions over the years to pursue her dream to become a singer. Her talent and efforts were noticed by Arong, her later agent from Beijing CCTV Star Sea Cultural Development Corporation and they soon started cooperation.
Arong also invited Pan's parents to the conference since it was Pan's birthday that day.
Speaking about her work, he says "I have seen Pan's efforts, and also her regret at not being able to see her parents as often over the years. So I invited them and hoped to surprise her. I also wish her very bright prospects."
