60 killed, 101 wounded due to rains, floods in Sudan

KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese Health Ministry said on Saturday that 60 people have been killed and 101 others wounded because of rains and floods across the country.

"The rains and floods, which have recently swept the country, killed 60 people and wounded 101 in all states of Sudan," said Suleiman Abdul-Jabbar, undersecretary of the ministry, in a statement.
