Tomato food fight in Spanish festival

On Wednesday, the Valencian town of Bunol in the east of Spain was the epitome of "painting the town red".
Every last Wednesday of August, the town holds the La Tomatina food festival, where locals and tourists have a tomato fuelled food fight.
The origins of the festival date back to 1945, and continue to draw large crowds today.
