Up to 2017, she had traveled to 55 counties and regions in five continents except South America and Antarctica.
In Jan 2018, she traveled on cruise ship, starting from the southern Argentine city of Ushuaia, toward the Antarctic.
"To prevent my family members from worrying about my safety, I didn't tell them my true destination," she said. "I just told them I would travel in South America."
When the ship crossed through the Drake Passage, the serenity was shaken as winds blasted, causing the tourists serious discomfort, such as dizziness, vomiting, sweating and heart palpitations.
As an experienced doctor, He gave a series of notes on medication and precautions against seasickness, which comforted travelers on board.
"I also welcomed my 66th birthday on the ship," she said. "I will never forget celebrating a birthday in the Antarctic with beautiful flowers and birthday cake. It was summer, and the lowest temperature was minus five degrees. It was still so cold."
