Wanfeng Lake Scenic spot, located at the nexus of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi provinces, is the fifth-largest freshwater lake in China after Poyang Lake, Dongting Lake, Taihu Lake and Hongze Lake.
Formed by Tianshengqiao I Hydropower Station Dam, a key national hydropower project, Wanfeng Lake covers an area of 176 square kilometers and holds 10.26 billion cubic meters of water.
The lake features more than 30 islands, 58 peninsulas and 82 ports. Qianxinan prefecture in Southwest China's Guizhou province promotes the ecological protection of water-source areas, and the landscape of Wanfeng Lake is one of its main achievements.
In autumn, Wanfeng Lake glows and ripples, surrounded by green mountains and beautiful scenery. It is particularly charming set against the blue sky, making a scene that has visitors returning time and again.
