The Big Air snowboard and ski slope for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics completed construction on Oct 31 and was now ready to be used, according to the municipal government.

During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, four gold medals will be awarded in this stadium.

After the event, the stadium will continue to hold professional games and training, as well as stay open to the public for sports activities, Huang Hui, an official from the Beijing Major Projects Construction headquarters, said on Friday during a media tour to the site.

The design of ski jump's track has made it capable of holding more entertainment sports such as water skiing and grass skiing, which means it can be adjusted into other sports facilities accordingly after the Olympics.

The track is 164 meters long, 60 meters high and 34 meters wide. Athletes will jump from the high position and display skilled movements high up in the air.
