China summons US charge d'affaires, making solemn representations over US interference in HK

Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu on Wednesday summoned the charge d'affaires of the US Embassy in Beijing, making solemn representations after the US Senate passed its so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act.
China expressed strong condemnation against and firm opposition to the passage of the bill.
