Youngsters discuss burning issues at Beijing forum

A forum on youth wanderers discussed the hot topics of youngsters at Chaoyang Joy City in Beijing on Dec 28.

The forum invited youth representatives from different fields, such as music, video and design, to deliver speeches and share their stories.

Song Zhuangzhuang, founder of Diduhui, a design self-media, said every youngster has taken part in the designing and rebuilding of a city consciously or unconsciously.

"What everyone of us does is actually define our city from different angles, and more people are aware of that," Song said.

Zheng Zheng, vice-general manager of Chaoyang Joy City, thought this is the best time for youth. He said the influence of the idols nowadays is getting more and more powerful.

A youth wanderer themed museum was built at the second floor of the shopping mall and will run till Jan 5.

A youth consumption report will be launched in January by Chaoyang Joy City and Jiemian news collecting more than 200,000 opinions from the youth.
