Chinese home appliance maker TCL Technology Group Corp said it has restored normal business operation and production on Monday, and the Wuhan factory owned by its subsidiary maintained normal operations during the Spring Festival.

TCL said the majority of employees have adopted flexible ways of doing their jobs, such as working from home, since Feb 3. Moreover, the production line that is closely related to the company's global business continues to operate as planned during the Spring Festival holiday, in a bid to meet global manufacturing obligations.

Many provinces in China announced that the resumption of production would not take place before Feb 10, and some enterprises have suspended operations due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Shenzhen and Huizhou plants of China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd, a leading TV panel supplier and a subsidiary of TCL hasn't been affected by the epidemic, while its factory in Wuhan, which produces small and medium-sized display panels for smartphones, maintained normal operation during the Spring Festival.

TCL said its current raw material inventory can meet the production needs, but the supply of some production material may be delayed for a short period of time, due to the delayed resumption of work by suppliers and obstructed logistics.

The company has actively coordinated the logistics channels and negotiated with strategic suppliers to ensure the supply of materials. It also will adjust its production and operation strategies in accordance with the development of the outbreak and market fluctuation.
