China Eastern Airlines launched a made-to-order chartered service on Feb 18 to help enterprises nationwide whose employees are trying to return to the cities they work in, according to the Shanghai-based carrier.

All companies located outside of Hubei provinces can enjoy charter a flight as long as their applicant numbers are 50 or above.

According to China Eastern, a number of companies have already ordered 60 chartered flights to carry 8,000 employees to Chinese and international destinations as of Feb 19.

Apart from chartered flights, China Eastern is also planning to gradually restore some of its domestic and international flights at the end of February.

The first batch of international flights to be resumed includes routes between Kunming, Yunnan province and the Myanmar cities of Yangon and Mandalay.
