A slave trader's statue was torn down in Bristol on Sunday as anti-racism protests continued across the United Kingdom, following the death in the United States of George Floyd.

Protesters used ropes to pull down the bronze statue of Edward Colston, a prominent 17th century slave trader before throwing it in the river.
