Stringent national security law needed for HK: Retired magistrate

Wong Yu-wing, a retired magistrate in Hong Kong, thinks the city needs a stringent national security law to restore peace and order.

The protest violence inflicting on the city is a "malignant tumor", which has to be removed despite the pain it may involve, he says. Otherwise, it may cause a heavier toll on the whole society, he warns.
