Ukrainian fitness trainer falls in love with Hainan's Boao city

Bondage Iryna from Ukraine said she has decided to live in Boao city,Hainan province,permanently, because of the beauty of the leisure city and its nice people.

"I like Boao. I like ocean. I love my job and people here," Iryna, who was a ballet dancer and also a fitness trainer in Ukraine, told China Daily. "When I came to this place, I knew it's my kind of place. I like it here and I want to enjoy my life here."

She is now a fitness trainer working for a gym at Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone in Hainan province

The zone is the only one of its kind in China that enjoys nine preferential policies, including special permission to import medical technology, medical equipment and medicines.

Iryna holds classes for customers in the gym every day. If there's no class, she practices, or reads books or watches videos about new businesses or training, "as I also need to further study and learn," she said.

Before she settled down in Boao, she traveled across Hainan for about one year. But she finally chose to stay in Boao, because "there aren't too many people here and air is so clean".

Besides, she added she is happy to see more and more Chinese taking care about their health and body and coming to gyms in recent years,as fitness training is in great need in China.
