National security law will stop violence, vandalism: French wine maker

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2020-06-14 21:19

Bruno Paumard, a French wine maker who has been living in China for 15 years, expressed his support for the national security law recently.

He has been following Hong Kong issues for years on social media platforms and says that it's easy to guess who is behind the unrest and chaos in Hong Kong.

"In Hong Kong, this is the only place the people say they fight for freedom and democracy, but in fact they fight to please America. This is nothing to do with the protest in France with religion, or in America with Black Lives Matter," he says. He believes that the law will be a good thing to stop the violence and vandalism.
