5.4-magnitude quake hits South Indian Ocean -- USGS

HONG KONG -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted South Indian Ocean at 02:15:12 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 8.68 km, was initially determined to be at 10.9052 degrees south latitude and 93.815 degrees east longitude.
