IDC: China's video cloud market reaches $4.62b in 2019

China's video cloud market reached $4.62 billion in 2019, up 46.3 percent year-on-year, according to the latest report on China's video cloud market in the second half of 2019 by global market consultancy IDC.

The country's video cloud solutions market grew faster than the cloud infrastructure market, with growth rates of 53.9 percent and 45.0 percent, respectively, the report said.

Generally speaking, public cloud service providers dominate the video cloud solutions market, with the top five players accounting for 64.9 percent of the market share.

The top five cloud service providers in China's video cloud market are Tencent Cloud, Aliyun, Baidu Cloud, Kingsoft Cloud and Huawei Cloud.

China's video cloud market is projected to increase 48.67 percent year-on-year in 2020 and the country's video cloud solutions market is expected to reach $4.72 billion in 2024.
