US COVID-19 cases surpass 5.5 mln: Johns Hopkins University

NEW YORK - The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States surpassed 5.5 million on Wednesday to reach 5,505,074, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
