LONDON - All passengers on a flight from a Greek island to the Welsh city of Cardiff have been asked to self-isolate as seven of them tested positive for COVID-19, local media reported Sunday.
Health officials confirmed that seven people who were on board of Tui flight 6215 from Zante to Cardiff on Tuesday have tested positive for COVID-19. They were from three different parties and the whole flight was considered as "close contacts".
Giri Shankar, COVID-19 incident director of Public Health Wales said the passengers would be contacted shortly.
"Meanwhile, they must self-isolate at home as they may become infectious, even without developing symptoms," said Shankar.
