Expert: China's secret to control the spread of COVID-19

After the epidemic in Wuhan was brought under control, several waves of the virus were identified in China. In summary, including Wuhan, there have been a total of seven waves. In April and May there was local transmission caused by imported cases in northeast of China, then the cluster of cases at Xinfadi Market in Beijing in June, then Urumqi in Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region and Dalian in Liaoning province in July and August, followed by a dozen of cases in Qingdao and Kashi in Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region in October and November.

By reviewing China's strategies against those COVID-19 cases, Wu Zunyou, chief epidemiologist of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, reveals China’s secret to control the COVID-19 pandemic.
