Western media's portrayal of training centers far from truth

Some Western media organizations have repeatedly labelled the vocational education and training centers in Xinjiang as "concentration camp", claiming that forced labor is used as a means to get rid of extremist ideas, trainees are badly treated and forced to work in factories as cheap and free labor. These are sheer falsification and slander.
Instead, the fact is that the vocational education and training centers in Xinjiang strictly follow the Constitution and law, guarantee the basic rights of trainees, and forbid any insult or abuse on them.
In the vocational education and training center, people learn about the Constitution, criminal law, anti-terrorism law, religious affair regulations. Vocational education and training center is a school which does not charges for training, accommodation and nutritious meals. During weekends and official holidays people can contact their family through phone calls and can ask for a leave any time if necessary.
