China's Heilongjiang to build 18,000 5G base stations in 2021

HARBIN -- Northeast China's Heilongjiang province will build 18,000 5G base stations in 2021 to advance the application of 5G technology and accelerate the development of the digital economy.

This year, the province will also accelerate the development of its big data industry and promote the construction of a national big data center in Harbin, the provincial capital.

Heilongjiang built 18,900 5G base stations in 2020.
