Manatee County, Florida, is in a state of emergency and more than 300 homes were being evacuated as a toxic wastewater reservoir is on the brink of collapse. On Sunday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said the water was primarily saltwater from a dredge project mixed with legacy process water and storm water runoff. He said that the water was not radioactive.
