China to take necessary actions against US sanctions on 7 more Chinese tech firms, says Chinese Foreign Ministry.

The seven Chinese firms are Tianjin Phytium Information Technology, Shanghai High-Performance Integrated Circuit Design Center, Sunway Microelectronics, the National Supercomputing Center in Jinan, the National Supercomputing Center in Shenzhen, the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, and the National Supercomputing Center in Zhengzhou, according to a statement by the United States Department of Commerce.

The statement claimed that these entities are building supercomputers used by China's military on its modernization efforts or to develop weapons of mass destruction programs, an old fashioned rhetoric by the US government.
