Clean energy contributes 89.1 pct of Tibet's power capacity: White paper

BEIJING -- Clean energy had contributed 89.1 percent of the installed power-generating capacity in Tibet autonomous region by 2020, said a white paper issued by China's State Council Information Office Friday.

A green development model has been in place as Tibet is working to develop itself into a national clean energy base, according to the white paper titled "Tibet Since 1951: Liberation, Development and Prosperity."
