Truck-driving lyricist makes literary splash

Over the years starting in 2015, truck driver and lyricist Zhou Liangguo has written more than 300 sets of lyrics, with nearly 300 published, more than 100 composed and produced and some spread on the internet. His works cover a wide range of issues about love, family, life and thoughts and feelings that occur to him. [Provided to China Daily]

During breaks in loading and unloading, Zhou would sit in the cab reading or writing. He has a large collection of literary works, from short essays to long novels by multiple Chinese literary greats. He has built athick pile of manuscripts over the years.

"I have no other thought than this," Zhou said.
