WHO: Prevent transmission to stop virus variants

The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday that the best way to stop the development of COVID-19 variants is to prevent transmission. In the news conference, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general, again called for vaccines to be distributed equitably.
