High-quality housekeeping services and professionals are in increasing demand in the country as the aged population grows and a number of married couples are considering their second or third child.

To address these concrete demands from both families in need and the industry at large, the First National Housekeeping Expo will be held at the China National Convention Center from Dec 3 to 5 in Beijing.

Figures from the National Development and Reform Commission show the number of people in the housekeeping trade exceeded 30 million by 2020.

The upcoming expo will gather governmental bodies, enterprises, industry units and schools from across the country to show new developments in the trade and envision a future social life in which different forms of housekeeping will be integrated into many sectors.
