Amphibious training concludes on Mekong River

The Mekong River amphibious special operation police team in Yunnan province concluded two months of combat training recently, in connection with the 10th anniversary of joint patrols and inspections along the river by China, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
A video shows their training activities, which included water rescues, underwater obstacle removal, swimming and forest searches.
The team was established in 2019 by the Yunnan Public Security Department, to enhance capabilities for dealing with emergencies on water, cracking down on crime and maintaining security, the department said.
