Aksu in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region is the hometown of China's "Rock-candy Heart" apple. Due to its excellent location of 41 degrees north latitude, the apples here enjoy sunlight in all four seasons and taste very sweet. The apples are also made into apple juice, dried apple or cider, and sold home and abroad, becoming a pillar industry for locals.
