US plans to seize $7 billion of Afghanistan's funds

US President Joe Biden has signed an executive order to set aside half of Afghanistan’s central bank’s $7 billion frozen in the United States to compensate victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, while the other half will be put in a trust fund to be distributed to the Afghan people through humanitarian organizations.
