Winston Lord: 1972 'Shanghai Communique' was unprecedented

Shanghai Communique was issued by the US and China during US President Richard Nixon's visit to China from Feb 21 to 28, 1972. Winston Lord, who was a member of Nixon's group, said both sides set out consensuses as well as differences in the communique, which is unprecedented.
