Ambassador asks about free trade with Latin America and the Caribbean

During this year's two sessions, China's most important annual political event, foreign ambassadors to China put forward some of their concerns. The concerns, ranging from deepening economic and trade cooperation to expanding cultural exchanges, were answered by Chinese experts.

Fernando Lugris, the ambassador of Uruguay to China, asks if China will have more free trade agreement negotiations with more Latin America and Caribbean countries this year. 

Shi Peiran, an assistant research fellow at the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, shared her insights. Watch the video to hear what she said.
